I have been directed to inform the University Community that members of the University Community will proceed on Christmas break as follows:
Students will proceed on Christmas break on Friday, 16th December, 2016 and resume on Monday, 9th January, 2017 while members of staff will start their own Christmas holiday on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016 and resume on Thursday, 5th January, 2017.
All students should therefore vacate the hall of residence and handover their room keys to the porter in charge of their hall latest 12:00 noon on Saturday, 17th December, 2016.
All those on essential services should ensure that their beats are covered during the break.
The Vice Chancellor wishes members of the University Community merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
