The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved three additional programmes at Christopher University. The approval was given through a letter signed by the Director, Academic Planning, Dr. N. B. Saliu.
The letter of approval from NUC comes after a visit to Christopher University, Mowe last year, when the material and human resources available were inspected. Executive Secretary (NUC) in the letter to the Univetsity stated that the body has considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the following undergraduate programmes to be run in the Main Campus of the university effective from 2020/2021 academic session:
- B.Sc. Computer Science
- B.Sc. Information Science and Media Studies
- B.Sc. Sociology
The school management has expressed gratitude to NUC and have reiterated their commitment to providing and improving the human and material resources required for the development and growth of the approved programmes.
