NUC GRANTS APPROVAL TO CHRISTOPHER UNIVERSITY TO MOUNT B.SC PROGRAMME IN MASS COMMUNICATION AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS.

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Christopher University approval to run Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programmes in Mass Communication and International Relations. This was communicated to the University on Friday 24th November 2017 through the office of the Director, Academic Standard, National Universities Commission “Dr G. B Kumo.

Dr G. B Kumo in his words wrote “I am directed to inform you that the Management Committee together with some visiting Professors during its 2-day meeting held on 16th and 17th November 2017 considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the following undergraduate academic programme(s) to be run on the Main Campus of the University, effective from 2017/2018 academic session: 1. International Relations, B. Sc.  2. Mass Communication, B. Sc”

The addition of these two programmes has increased the total number of programmes offered at Christopher University to 14. Other programmes available at the University are Accounting, Business Admin., Economics, Banking, Finance, Marketing, English, Literature, Psychology, Political Science, Philosophy and History & Diplomatic Studies.

Admission into the University in these programmes for the 2017/2018 academic year is ongoing. Candidates seeking admission are advised to come to the campus with their UTME printout and Ordinary level results for screening.
