Christopher University held her first students orientation programme on Wednesday, 22nd of March 2017. The orientation programme was attended by the students, lecturers and principal officers of the university.

The programme was put together to introduce students to the university life, acclimating them to their surroundings and providing the university community an opportunity to formally meet her newest members. 

To socially integrate them into the university culture the programme was also used to provide academic advising to the students and give them a strong overview of academic expectations to better prepared them to meet the challenges of the academic year.
To achieve the above objectives some lectures (see table below) were organized for the new students.

3. Hostel Accomodation: Rules of Residency. Mrs. Uche Anekwe
4. Health Services and Environmental Sanitation in the University. Dr. Ofili C. A
5. Lectures and Examination System in the University. Mrs. Nkiru Achu.
6. The Organs and Channels of Communication in the University. Aloysius Udeoke
7. Library Services in the University. Mrs. Lilian Agu.
8. Social Life in the University Community. Dr. Mbah F. N

Feedback received from students during the programme were encouraging and the University principal officers present were able to respond to questions them and have promised to help resolve some of the challenges brought up during the programme.
